FUERTEVENTURA
Fuerteventura is the dryest among the Canarian Island,
nethertheless its charm is second to no one.
Crossing inside the Island you will
discover the different
colors of the oncoming hills,
topped by Miradores offering breathtaking views.
With around 200 Km coast, the Island
offers an infinity of beaches,
from the white sand El Cotillo to the
black ones of pebbles and sand.
Organised excursions will let divers scuba diving
benefiting from the rich marine fauna (sea life).
High-speed ferries head to the near
Lanzarote and to Los Lobos,
the tiny pearl that was granted
the status of Nature Reserve.
Several km of bicycle path and footpaths
cross the Island, leading to the discovery of charming
and tucked-away corners.
Little towns and villages still follow local traditions,
featuring fairs for special occurrencies
and throughout the whole summer.
A network of small museum reviews
the history of Fuerteventura,
its population, flora, fauna and geology.
The Island, normally quite windy,
becalmes during the autumnal season,
while the sea water keeps the summer warmth.
Even in winter the temperature is mild and it is
possible during the central hours of the day to stay
on the beaches and take advantages of the Always hot sun.
